2 New Disney Cruise Line Ships
Disney Cruise Line announced that it has finalized a contract with Meyer Werft shipyard to build two new ships.

The Walt Disney Company announced plans today to build two additional cruise ships each of them showcasing the immersive family entertainment enchanting storytelling and unparalleled service that only Disney can deliver. The new deal is a 20-year operating agreement. The new ships are expected to finish construction in 2021 or 2022. During todays Walt Disney Company Annual Meeting of Shareholders Bob Iger revealed that Disney Cruise Line will be expanding their cruise ship fleet with the addition of two more phenomenal ships.
Disney Cruise Line has announced that it will make a return to cruise destinations in the Bahamas Caribbean and Mexico in early 2023. The first of the three ships to be completed will be the Disney Wish and it will be finished at the end of 2021 with an anticipated first voyage in summer 2022. 2 of the 3 New Disney Cruise Line Ships Will Be Based Out of Port Canaveral.
The fleet consists of Disney Magic Disney Dream Disney Wonder and Disney Fantasy so the cruise line may stick to tradition and choose a word synonymous with the Disney. Disney Cruise Line President Tom McAlpin and Bernard Meyer managing partner of Meyer Werft shipyard of Papenburg Germany signed the contract in front of several hundred cheering cast members at a Disney Cruise Line cast gathering this morning.
